Javier Urbina — The Lord of the Bubbles
Javier Urbina is a Mexican performance artist who has dedicated over 16 years to transforming soap bubbles into a theatrical art form. Known internationally as "The Lord of the Bubbles," he is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost bubble artists — a title earned through relentless creative work and performances spanning five continents.
Since his debut in 2008, Javier has performed for more than half a million people across Mexico, the United States, Spain, New Zealand, Colombia, Indonesia, Taiwan and beyond. His resume spans national television on Televisa, resident seasons aboard Costa Cruises, headlining roles in international circus productions with 200,000+ spectators, ice spectaculars at the Taipei Arena, Christmas installations at Madrid's Royal Botanical Garden, and the Bread & Circus World Buskers Festival in New Zealand.
In 2026, Javier launches the México Tour 2026 — a national theatrical tour visiting theaters across Mexico, bringing an original one-man bubble show to audiences from Puebla and Guadalajara to Zacatecas, Cuernavaca and beyond. It is both a homecoming and a declaration: bubble performance is a serious theatrical art, and Javier Urbina is its leading practitioner.
Beyond performance, Javier teaches the science and art of soap bubbles through workshops, one-on-one mentorships and Kuantika.IO — the world's first AI-powered bubble formula simulator, which he created to bring scientific rigour to an ephemeral art.
