The British company "Illusion On Ice," with its 20-plus international artists, arrived at the Aguascalientes Fair 2019 (Mexico) with the "Acua" show, leaving more than 3,000 spectators a day frozen in amazement from April 21 to May 5, 2019 — a total of 31 shows for roughly 100,000 spectators.
This huge production on ice came that year with bubbles by Javier Urbina, "The Lord of the Bubbles," who presented several bubble acts, some with audience participation. The company's work stands out for its interaction with the public, using dynamics designed to involve audiences of all ages.
"Acua" brought together dancers, acrobats, bubble acts and a huge pirate ship, immersing the audience in an adventure to the bottom of the sea. Among sirens, fish and classical melodies, the artists showcased their physical and artistic abilities, with special effects and costumes complementing the magic of a show billed as the best ice spectacle in Mexico.
Staged at the National Fair of San Marcos (FSNM) in Aguascalientes, "Acua" combined skating excellence with ephemeral bubble art to deliver one of the season's standout family experiences.
